Let's work together on February 5, 2025. St. John's UCC in partnership with Sudanese Grace Episcopal Church will host a Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry at 1550 Oswego NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Volunteers will gather at 5:00 pm., distribution starts at 6:00 pm. We are an equal opportunity provider. Last month, we served 133 households, 442 individuals, 139 children, 82 seniors and 5 veterans. A total of 28 volunteers braved frosty weather and moved 4,421 pounds of food. A big thank you to all who braved a Michigan winter night to feed our neighbors. Ben and Tiera Teidt were new to our crew and Peter Hulchilt returned after a long work-related absence. Carol Stechow donated 26 colorful knitted hats to disperse in our community. A small donation of surplus food was delivered to UCOM by Richard Johnson. LeAnn Merrill brought homemade cookies to keep energy levels high.
