Wednesday, December 21, 2022: Mobile Food Pantry

December 21, 2022 will be the last opportunity to volunteer this year at the Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry sponsored by St. John's UCC, in partnership with Sudanese Grace Episcopal Church. The November event was staffed with seventeen dedicated volunteers, serving 89 households, 249 individuals, 89 children, 48 seniors and 5 veterans. Clients received knitted colorful hats made by church member Carol Stechow and school supplies collected by high school volunteer Brooke Bernier. A small number of surplus vegetables was donated to United Christain Outreach Ministry, delivered by Richard Johnston. Volunteers will gather at 5:00pm at Sudanese Grace Episcopal Church located at 1550 Oswego NW, Grand Rapids, Mi. 49504, Distribution begins at 6:00pm. Finacial donations are welcome on the church app, personal checks can be mailed to St. John's UCC, 1934 Bridge Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI, 49504. Thank you for your continued support.
