Chili Cook-Off & Bread Auction

Bring your family, friends, funds & appetite to St. John's United Church of Christ, 1934 bridge St. NW, Grand Rapids, this Sunday, Oct. 5, and enjoy the annual Chili Cook-off and Bread Auction!

Enter your best chili in the cook-off. After the bread auction everyone samples the chili entries and votes for their favorite one. Prizes will be awarded for the best meat, meatless, and most unique entries.

Donate your favorite home baked or store bought loaf of bread for the World Communion Sunday altar. Worship begins at 10 a.m. After worship St. John's youth will auction the loaves to benefit youth programs at the church. Buy a loaf to enjoy with your chili, or take it home to bless your table.

Everyone goes home with satisfied spirits and full tummies! You are most cordially invited to attend!!
