You are welcome to join us for this encounter with the good news of Jesus.
Welcome to Sunday morning! This is the day that God has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it!
While the COVID pandemic numbers in our area are above our target metrics, we continue to worship exclusively online. A small team of worship leaders (pastor, music director, liturgist, cantor, and tech) will broadcast the service from the sanctuary.
You may join the worship service via our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/stjohnsuccgr/ , our YouTube channel at http://alturl.com/etrte , or our website at https://stjohnsuccgr.org/ at 10:00 a.m.
There are links below this message to the order of service, the weekly Journal, a children's bulletin for the week's lectionary readings, a youth Bible Study, an Adult Bible Study, and a devotional guide for the week. Please share these resources with your family and friends and know that we are joined together across any distances or difficulties that might separate us.
When the service completes, please join us on Zoom for a time of fellowship using this link:

The Education team would like to extend our Lenten Guide to the entire congregation/community this year. Our lenten guide is similar to an Advent wreath. You would light another candle each week and do the devotional and discussion questions. The guide starts on Sunday, March 6 and goes for 6 weeks to finish on Easter Sunday.
Each Sunday, as part of the Children’s Message, we will have a recording of lighting the candle and doing the devotional. We will then post discussion questions on our Families private Facebook page (please contact the education team if you’d like to be added to this page).
We thought this would be a great way for all of us to stay connected throughout the Lenten season.
The Lenten Guide is attached here. You could use any candles you have available to you. If you need candles or would like a print out of the Lenten guide, please contact the Education Team and we'd be happy to get them to you.
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.
