Wednesday, March 02, 2022: Mobile Food Pantry

Let's all hope that month of March rolls in like a lamb!  Last month, despite the artic weather, we were able to supply 53 families/ 231 individuals with a variety of grocery staples purchased from Feeding America West Michigan and fleece hats made and donated by Becky and Kiera Tiedt. Thank you to our talented seamstresses!   Volunteers will gather at 5:00 PM to set up the Mobile Food Pantry sponsored by St. John's in partnership with The Sudanese Grace Episcopal Church.  Drive thru contact free distribution starts at 6;00 PM.  Join us at 1550 Oswego NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49504 for this worthy mission!  For further information or questions, call Teresa Markoski at 616-691-4566, or email her at tmarkoski2004@yahoo.com.   Donations can be made by selecting Mobile Food Pantry on the church app give tab or by mailing a personal check to St. John's UCC, 1934 Bridge Street, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49504..  Your support to the Mobile Food Pantry is much appreciated.  Together we serve.

While the COVID pandemic numbers in our area are above our target metrics, we continue to worship exclusively online. A small team of worship leaders (pastor, music director, liturgist, cantor, and tech) will broadcast the service from the sanctuary.
