A Feeding America West Michigan Mobile Food Pantry is scheduled on February 4, 2026, sponsored by St. John's UCC in partnership with Sudanese Grace Episcopal Church. Volunteers will gather at 5:00 pm at 1550 Oswego NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49504. Distribution begins at 6:00 pm. Last month, we distributed 5,437 pounds of food to 110 households, 361 individuals, 96 children, 81 seniors and 5 veterans. Our volunteer army stood 31 volunteers strong. A big thank you to Tarah Teidt and Hypatia Morris Armock who were new to our crew. A small amount of surplus food was delivered to UCOM by Richard Johnston. Clients received 74 hand knitted hats, mittens and scarves made by love by Carol Stechow and an anonymous donor. We are incredibly grateful to our donors and supporters of the mobile food pantry.
