Today at 5:00 PM: Mobile Food Pantry

St. John's UCC in partnership with Sudanese Grace Episcopal Church will host a Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry on February 7, 2024, at 1550 Oswego NW, Grand Rapids, MI., 49504. Volunteers will gather at 5:00pm and distribution starts at 6:00pm. Last month, 25 volunteers worked together to provide food to 151 households, 502 individuals, 105 seniors, 190 children and 15 veterans. The numbers of people who come to the Mobile Food Pantry continues to grow. Three volunteers were new to the team: JoJo Dannison, Ginger Sinsabaugh and Ellen Mott. Caring for our neighbors is important to all of our volunteers and we look forward to continuing to work together to end hunger. A small donation was delivered to UCOM by Rick Heath and Todd Krupp. Warm knitted hats made by Carol Stechow were distributed to clients.
