October 13 is the date of our annual Blessing of the Animals. People friendly pets are invited to attend the service. Those pets that are shy or forget their manners when around children or other animals, may remain home and instead, human companions may bring a photo of their animal friend to be blessed. Children may also bring a special stuffed animal buddy for a blessing.
