The next Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry is scheduled on April 5, 2023, during spring break. The volunteer team has about six regular volunteers who will be traveling, so April would be a great month to participate on this mission. Last month, over 5,000 pounds of food was distributed to 70 households, 274 individuals, 64 seniors, 101 children and 14 veterans. The volunteer team was 15 people strong. Richard Johnson was able to deliver a large load of surplus food to United Outreach Christian Ministries. Volunteers will gather at 5:00 PM, distribution starts at 6:00PM. The location of distribution is at The Sudanese Grace Episcopal Church, 1550 Oswego NW, Grand Rapids, MI, 49504. Finacial donations are welcome by using the church app or by writing a personal check to St. John's UCC, 1934 Bridge Street, Grand Rapids, MI, 49504.
