It can be hard to know where to start when it comes to volunteering, but if you can pack food boxes, the Feeding America West Michigan Mobile Rood Panty sponsored by St. John's in partnership with Sundanese Grace Episcopal Church has an opportunity for you! On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, volunteers will gather at 5pm at 1550 Oswego, Grand Rapids, MI, 49504. Distribution will begin at 6pm. Records were broken at the December event :130 families and 436 individuals received food boxes. A total of 22 faithful volunteers reached 69 seniors, 185 children and 11 veterans. New to the volunteer crew: Diane Sinsabaugh and Lindsay Mason. Thank you for coming out and we hope to see you again! Linda Kozlowski donated Pampered Chef cooking utensils to each family and Carol Stechow donated knitted hats. Thank you, Linda and Carol, for sharing your gifts!
