Inclusive Justice

St. John's United Church of Christ, Grand Rapids, is proud to announce our new affiliation and community partnership with the state-wide, faith-based, Michigan coalition, Inclusive Justice! 

Our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Bill Lyons, has accepted an invitation to be part of the Inclusive Justice speakers bureau.  Inclusive Justice aligns with our St. John's UCC values as it affirms the inherent dignity and worth of every human being as a matter of spiritual conviction.  The organization advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex persons' acceptance within religious and spiritual communities, and for the equitable treatment of all, especially sexual minorities in local, state, and federal public policy.

As a congregation, and family of friends, St. John's UCC continues to be a leader in spiritual inclusion, marriage equality, and social justice in Michigan.  We stand together in faith, affirming all-embracing love!
