Worship
Worship services are on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am and all are welcome! Through scripture, songs and hymns, prayer, meditation, sermons, instrumental and choral music, liturgical theater and dance, our worship services offer many different ways to connect with and experience God. Whoever you are and wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome to worship at St. John's United Church of Christ.
Services are available to stream online through Facebook, YouTube, or our church app. If you’ve missed a service, you can watch past services, sermons, and children’s messages online.
Communion
St. John’s celebrates communion on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Communion is served to all people—the invitation to the Lord's Table is an invitation from Jesus. Whoever you are and wherever you are on life's journey you are welcome at Christ's Table.
Worship for Children
We believe that children are an important part of our worshipping community and welcome children of all ages to attend and participate in our worship services.
During the second half of the service, after the children’s message, children ages 3-13 participate in faith education in age-based Worship Centers. Children learn about God, the Bible, and the Christian faith through developmentally appropriate curriculum.
A staffed nursery is available for children ages birth through 3 years during worship services. Our ushers can help direct you to our nursery.
Music Ministry
Music Ministry volunteers learn together, sing together, play instruments together, have fun together, and care for and support one another. The purpose of this ministry is to enrich our worship of God for the glory of God. Prior musical training or experience are not necessary. There is a place for you in the Music Ministry of St. John’s United Church of Christ!
